This is the first high-top sneaker silhouette Yeezy has released since the 750. Similar to the 500 Stone release, Yeezy replaces mesh with neoprene to add a sleek look to this high-top model. This Yeezy 500 High is composed of a Slate neoprene and suede with reflective piping. Rope laces secure the tongue and a textured mudguard reinforces the sidewall. Offering contrast, the sculpted midsole holds Adiprene cushioning and undulating tread patterns the rubber outsole.
